Dropshipping connection for home decoration producers: Fully automated integration with YellowFrog

Initial situation:

We recently realized an exciting project for a manufacturer in the home decoration industry: The complete connection of a new B2B customer via a fully automated dropshipping solution. The aim was to give the retailer direct access to the manufacturer's entire product range - including automated processes for stock and price comparisons, order transfers and shipping status.

Project objective

Our client - an established producer of high-quality home accessories - wanted to connect a new sales partner in an efficient and scalable way. Instead of manual interfaces and confusing processes, the connection was to be fully automated. The retailer needed to be able to list all products directly in their own online store - including real-time data maintenance and seamless order processing.

Implementation with YellowFrog

The technical implementation was carried out using YellowFrog DASCH, our high-performance platform for automated dropshipping connections. The following functions were successfully integrated:

  • Automatic product import: All product data - including title, description, images, prices, variants and categories - were transferred fully automatically to the customer's store.
  • Real-time stock reconciliation: Stock levels are regularly synchronized to avoid overselling and ensure smooth order processing.
  • Price comparison & margin calculation: Price changes at the producer are automatically adopted.
  • Automatic sales price calculation: The sales prices in the customer's store are calculated dynamically on the basis of individually defined mark-up rules, scales or rounding logic - exactly according to the customer's specifications.
  • Order transmission via API: As soon as an order is received in the customer's store, it is transmitted directly to the producer - completely automatically.
  • Shipping data update: Tracking numbers and shipping status are automatically reported back to the store.
  • Automated categorization: Products appear in the customer's store directly in the appropriate categories.
  • Custom fields & mapping: Individual requirements, e.g. in relation to brands, product types or filters, were flexibly mapped.

Result

The connection went successfully and without interrupting ongoing business operations. Shortly after going live, the retailer was able to list several hundred products in its store and automatically initiate orders. For the producer, this means significant time savings, new sales potential and future-proof scaling of the dropshipping business.
